WS_FTP®

Begin
by opening WS_FTP®. It will open with the last profile
used. Click on New.
Complete
the General screen as pictured, using your own information.
Click on Apply.
If
you wish to have WS_FTP® start in a specific folder on
your hard drive and/or web space, you may make entries such as these
on the Startup screen.
When
performing an upload, make sure to double-click public_html
in the remote window to open it, then transfer the file(s). Your
files must be in public_html to be seen by a browser.
To
perform the transfer, select the file(s) to be copied and click on
the 
button which points to the desired destination.
The
URL to provide to viewers would be:
http://www.pronetisp.net/~jsmith/, for example. |
