Why this commentary?

Laughs. Pure and simple. Far too many Christian leaders have no sense of humor. If you want to reach our world you need to examine what reaches it today. Look at advertizing. Humor has almost taken the place of sex in reaching people (Whew! 'Bible Sex Commentary' would not have worked.).

What I would like to have happen is for everyone who has a humorous take on a Bible passage to send it to me. I want this to become a repository of Bible humor for pastors/ministers to find humor to add to an otherwise dull sermon. Humor, used correctly, can make a sermon unerasable from the memory. We're talking ROM here.
