Hi Paul! It is nice to be able to catch up with Kelsey news by looking at the web page. Seeing the pictures of the 1976 Kelsey Event reminded me to tell you that we have a little news here about our Kelsey. She is now Dr. Kelsey Simons after completing her PhD in Social Work this month at the University of Maryland. Right now she is in the process of moving to Detroit. She will be starting a Post Doctoral Fellowship in research on July 1st and will be working for the Institute of Gerontology at Wayne State University. She hopes to be able to teach a few social work classes as well. We are really proud of her. It was a long process that included a nationwide survey of nursing home social workers to determine their training, responsibilities and job satisfaction.  Amazing how a small community like Kelsey has produced so many wonderful people from one generation to the next.

The community center has a number of folding metal chairs available to members for the borrowing. The center is also available to it's members for special occasions: such as reunions, birthday parties, anniversaries parties and the like.
