     Spring arrived the third week of March, but it was another month or more before you could say that it has warmed up enough to put away the winter coats and break out the spring jackets and sweaters. The snows birds are returning north and the weekenders are opening up their homes in anticipation of the up coming warmer weather. The grass is getting greener every day and the lawn mowing is in full swing. We fertilize to make it green and grow faster, just to complain that we have to mow it more often. (Go Figure)

Our Annual Spring meeting will be at the community center on Saturday May 17^th, at 6 PM. As usual, bring a dish to pass. At the meeting we will need to decide if there will be enough help to put on the Kelsey Breakfast again this year. The tentative date that we have set aside will be Sunday, July 6^th.

This winter we have had a number of us that have had an operation or have been in the hospital for one reason or another. Dot and Abby should have been real busy trying to keep tract of everyone. To make it easier, please call them with any information that would help them do this important task.
